There is nothing simple about these rules, If only it was simple.
Happiness is a process we go through each day, and attain it depending on the choices we make each moment. The choices that feel right to us make us a happy person, or not. Or as the old saying goes, happy is as happy does.

PS A hand-blown paperweight with good color patterns inlaid can be worth a lot of money. Collectors prize them.

This is an on-going process for me too.
It's a little easier now then it was but it wasn't until I was 25 that I began actively trying to reconcile differing and often clashing sides of my culture, heritage and personality.
I'm intrigued by your development work! It's always such a pleasure meeting other Pakistani-Americans in this profession.
